1st “KEBPENUSI WEY KED-ELIMA” (Explore and Nurture) Mt. Kalatungan: Discover the new trail route
Itinerary:

March 31 – Accepts “early birds” to Pangantucan, Bukidnon
Municipal Gym

Day 1 (April 1)

8:00 -3:00 PM – Arrival and Registration
3:00 – 4:00 PM – Program (LGU Presentation of the Rationale of the Climb, Briefing and Orientation)
4:00 – 4:30 PM – Departure from Municipal Gym to the entry Base Camp – Brgy. Portulin
4:30 – 5:00 PM – Culture Sensitivity Briefing and Inspection of Bags
5:00 – 5:30 PM – Cultural Dance Presentation of Talaandig Tribes
6:00 – 7:00 PM – Dinner
8:00 PM - Rest and Relax for “Day 2” (Prepare proper clothing, and gears- the night is COLD esp. the succeeding nights)

Day 2 (April 2)

4:00 AM – Wake up call
5:00 AM – Breakfast, Prepare Pack Lunch, Break Camp and load water
6:00 – 7:00 AM – Jump Off , Trek to Hangaron Ridge(Open Trail)
8:00 AM – Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) to the Reservoir (water loading)
Trek continuous (be conscious with time, have reasonable rest, keep on track)
12:00 NN – Lunch on trail
1:00 PM – Optional: Side trek to your right, to the Pigbawian Bonsai Garden, 25 meters.
At least 5 minutes picture taking…then back to the trail and continue your trek
2:30 PM – On trail, you will enjoy the scenery of Kalatungan Peak which seems to be very close to
you, seems to be within your reach. Overlooking also is another Pigbawian Bonsai
Garden which is estimated to be 5 hectares.
4:30 PM – Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) to Camp 1 – “Sangaya-Ootah”
6:00 PM – Dinner, Socials
8:00 PM – Rest for the “Big Day”

Day 3 (April 3)

4:00 AM – Wake up call
5:00 AM – Breakfast, Prepare Pack Lunch, Break Camp and load water (Note: budget your water up to the next camp)
6:00 AM – Assault to Pala-pala Peak
9:00 AM – ETA to Pala-pala Peak (Feel the excitement and adrenalin rush as you come very close to Kalatungan Peak,
just one ridge away!)
12:00 NN – ETA to Kalatungan Peak (Lunch on Peak. Please take note to drink water reasonably)
- Picture Taking to the “Maxx” but be conscious with time
4:00 PM- ETA to Camp 2 – “Sangaya – Muleta”
6:00 PM – Dinner, Socials
8:00 PM – Rest for another day of physical test endurance

Day 3 (April 4)

4:00 AM – wake up call
5:00 AM - Breakfast, Prepare Pack Lunch, Break Camp and load water (Note: budget your water up to San Roque)
6:00 AM – Assault to Lumpanag Peak ( mountain beside Kalatungan Peak)
- Continue trekking to Awang Ridge (trail to San Roque)
12:00 NN – Lunch on trail
2:00 PM – ETA to San Roque (will be transported to Lake Napalit for site seeing and picture taking)
2:00
– 3:00 PM – Lake Napalit (Panamin Tribe will show a brief presentation
of their culture & beliefs in relation to Lake Napalit)
3:00- 4:00 ETD from Lake Napalit to Pangantucan Municipal Gym for Socials, awarding of t-shirt & certificates

Day 4 (April 5) – HOME SWEET HOME

Registration P350.00 (Inclusive of T-shirt, 1 meal ID,
Certificate & Transpo to base camp and Municipal Gym, vice versa).

Bus Fare: CDO to Pangantucan- P 185/Davao to Maramag- P 230/Maramag to
Pangantucan-P 25.
