My first junk food in Beijing!
Franchise of McDonald is everywhere. You wont starve here, but no spaghetti or some kind of rice in the menu. And, they serve burger and chicken in spicy flavor. Well, that is because Chinese loves spicy and hot food. Dont worry they have french fries and cola.

I know I am a food addict. But that is the good thing in Beijing, you have variety of choices of restaurants and food to choose.

I was with a Chinese female friend (an ex-colleague) when I took this photo. I was ill (diarrhea) for about a week and this is my first hard meal. Thanks to Wens!♥

So this is my friend Wens. We ate beef noodle at Pho, the Vietnamese restaurant in Beijing. Yeah mostly noodles are served in gigantic bowls. The first time I arrived in Beijing and tried noodles in restaurants, I was surprised to see the bowls. Damn! How could I finish the whole of it when even I cant have half of it.....but that's how it is. You can try. But I really can't finish it.

    Powerful dogs!
China had been listed to have high number of rich people in the world. There are many old people in China and less youngsters. This could probably due to the policy of the government to have a ONE CHILD. In big cities like Beijing, it is very advantage to be competitive in all matters. As early as 6 months, a child is being sent to an English training school to learn basic movements with foreigners. The fee could be very extensive but thinking about the advantage of exposing the child in an English environment is the big factor why most of the parents do this trend.

Suzhou in Jiangsu Province sometimes called the "little Venice" in China. This city is in the South part of China. The weather is like in the Philippines and even the soil is loam.....relatively sticky when wet♥

Suzhou is very swampy and the main dish is made of fresh water fish or shrimp. The dishes here may be a bit related to Philippine taste, not too salty and not too oily. Very humid area :)

The GRAND CANAL in Suzhou. This canal was constructed to transport businesses from different big cities in the old China. But for now, China had developed new strategies to move their products from one city to another. From Beijing to Suzhou it took at least 5 hours by fast train that have a speed of more than 300 km per hour.
